Charlie was out and about today promoting both her own artwork and jewellery making skills as well as raising funds and awareness of the I Am Collective’s forthcoming exhibition in October.
Business was brisk with sales of both her prints and hand made greetings cards featuring her pen and ink illustrations and she even managed to sell a few I Am badges as well.
The I Am Collective is a group of young artists based in Derbyshire who are working together on the idea ‘I Am…’ and hope to produce an intriguing and inspiring exhibition at The Green Man Gallery (in October) about how they as individuals interpret and express themselves.
The market was organised and run by The Teenage Market at this years Stockport Fringe Festival. The Teenage Market is a showcase for young creative entrepreneurs to pursue their business ideas and runs markets in a number of cities throughout the year.
As well as the opportunity to meet other creative young people, Charlie also use the event to network with local arts people in and around Stockport. Watch this space!
